O’Dwyer Homes Congratulates HomeAid Atlanta for 20 Years of Service

HomeAid Atlanta celebrated 20 years of service building new futures for those experiencing homelessness in the Atlanta area. Approximately 20,000 lives have been changed over the years thanks to HomeAid Atlanta, with contributions over $5,000,000 through 142 projects with the help of several building industry partners. We are proud to have the O’Dwyer Homes’ team as a groundbreaker supporter for this 20th milestone year and grateful for our longtime partnership with HomeAid Atlanta.

“It is a great privilege to work alongside such dedicated and hardworking team members at HomeAid Atlanta. What an honor to be part of the incredible work they do making a difference in the lives of our neighbors in need. Congratulations – 20 years is a huge milestone and quite the accomplishment!” – Dan O’Dwyer, President of O’Dwyer Homes

Through voluntary efforts over the years, Dan O’Dwyer has served as president of HomeAid Atlanta, volunteered 10 years on the Board of Directors, and was awarded “Builder Captain of the Year” twice. From managing the remodeling of the original Drake House, which provides emergency residential housing for homeless mothers with minor children combined with services designed to assist them on their path to recovery, to leading the renovations of the Drake Village years later with HomeAid Atlanta, we are and will remain a committed partner. For Dan, building homes and giving back to the community go hand in hand, and O’Dwyer Homes is happy to donate time, effort and money towards such a worthy cause.

Approximately 5,500 people experience homelessness in metro Atlanta on any given night. With a mission of helping those experiencing or at risk of homelessness build new lives through construction, community engagement, and education – we thank HomeAid Atlanta for their 20 years of hard work.
