Dan O’Dwyer, President of O’Dwyer Homes,elected as President for HomeAid Atlanta
January 2010 – Dan O’Dwyer, President of O’Dwyer Homes was elected as President for HomeAid Atlanta by the Board of Directors for the 2010 – 2012 terms. HomeAid is the designated charity of the Greater Atlanta Homebuilder’s Association and it provides shelters for the temporarily homeless.
Dan has been involved with HomeAid Atlanta for several years. In 2006, he generously served as HomeAid’s Builder Captain for The Drake House project, renovating 16 apartments for homeless families in Roswell, GA. He later joined HomeAid’s Board of Directors in 2009.
O’Dwyer Homes, an award-winning and reputable builder with more than 30 years of experience in the home building industry, is recognized in the real estate community for its quality construction and value-oriented product along with their total commitment to customer satisfaction and service.
Dan received his degree in Construction Management from Michigan State University. He is one of Atlanta’s premier home builders. He founded O’Dwyer Homes in 1993 and under his leadership, O’Dwyer Homes’ goal has always been to deliver the best home at the best value. The company’s homes can be found in many Atlanta area communities, affordably priced from the $180’s to more than $500K.
In 2006, Dan received the coveted Builder of the Year Award presented by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA). He also received HomeAid Atlanta’s Builder Captain of the Year Award the same year, honoring his work on The Drake House project.
Dan is currently on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Home Builders as well as the GAHBA’s Board of Directors. He is also an active member of the Certified Professional Home Builder program.
Dan and his wife Kathy reside in Woodstock, GA and are the proud parents of two children, Meghan and Brendan, who both attend Auburn University.
